Mini Motorcycles
Well you have heard of motorcycles, dirt bikes, cruising bikes, and snow bikes but have you heard about mini motorcycles? These little guys are the smaller version of the well known brand motorcycles. Unlike motorcycles there are a lot of places that you cannot ride the so-called pocket bikes. But this isn’t deterring real motorcycle fans of getting a mini scale sized bike.
So what does a mini motorcycle bike look like? It looks just like a normal motorcycle except that it is very small. When you sit on one of these mini bikes the chances of being seen by a driver in a car is quite small. Furthermore they are very uncomfortable for large sized people to sit comfortably and drive in them
Most people who like those mini motorcycles don’t care about that. The advantage of a pocket bike is that it is much cheaper and therefore more affordable than the bigger version. As mini motorcycles are of a lighter build, they cost about $200 to $300 compared to the regular motorcycles which cost more.
Some of the defenders of pocket bikes think that these mini bikes are a better buy for them because they are more gas efficient. So, if you are living on a budget this is convenient as you don't have to worry about high fuel prices. However you do need to weigh this against the other considerations like that of your safety.
As mentioned before car drivers have a very small chance of seeing the drivers of small scale bikes as they zip by. For this reason it is very easy to become involved in an accident. The good part about being in a mini motorcycle in such an accident is that you are very near the ground. There is only about 6 inches distance between you and the ground and so you have less chance of being badly hurt as opposed to riding the fuller and heavy version of the motorcycle.
Regardless of the various advantages and disadvantages of pocket bikes, there are more than enough male motorcycles fans who love these mini bikes. You can find them at various conventions and exhibitions where pocket motorcycles are being shown. Sometimes you may even see young adult men driving hunched over with a great grin on their faces as they zip by on their new found toys.
Mini motorcycles are definitely here to stay you will see them around in many different places much more often in the future. Probably you yourself will even ride a mini bike to your next appointment one day.
Whether this is a fad or whether Mini Motorcycles are here to stay you can definitely be assured that you will be seeing them around in many different places. Who knows maybe some day you will ride one of these to your next appointment. On the other hand then again maybe you wont.
